March 2010 – May 2010: In a pilot initiative, ECI conducted 11 Enterprise Development Trainings for 242 lottery winners of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Waseela-e-Haq program. A specialized nine-day program was designed for a diverse group of participants from the poorest of poor communities.  (…more)

Jan 2010 - June 2010: ECI implemented the USAID FIRMS ‘Supporting Institutions as Change Agents Initiative’ to strengthen capacity for service delivery of up to 10 selected Support Institutions including Chambers of Commerce, Business Associations and University Career Development Cells. (…more)

March 2010 - May 2010:In partnership with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and the Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority (ERRA), ECI initiated a challenging project for Micro-Enterprise Development for Persons with Functional Limitations (PWFL). (…more)

  • June 2010 – September 2010: ECI is designing and conducting eight 8-day Train The Trainer (TTTs) in Enterprise Development for staff and activists of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) Partner Organizations (POs). The intervention is focused on building capacity of POs who work in 29 of the poorest districts in Pakistan. (… more)
  • May 2010 – July 2010: ECI is designing and developing training curriculum for the Tobacco Control Cell focused on helping Persons Authorized to Enforce Tobacco Control Laws in Pakistan effectively undertake their responsibilities. (… more)
  • April 2010 – December 2010:In partnership with the Menonite Economic Development Agency (MEDA) ECI is providing technical assistance and capacity building support to MEDA’s Balochistan based key facilitation partner: Water, Environment and Sanitation Society (WESS) to implement Women Economic Empowerment Project (WEEP) to increase income of 5000 women embellishers in selected districts of Northern Balochistan. About to be Launched!

ECI’s Mera Maan’ Residential Training Center (RTC) is nearing completion! Set in a scenic location, at the banks of the Korang River, just out of Islamabad, the Mera Maan RTC is specially designed to cater to our clients training needs. Mera Maan has two fully equipped training halls and residential facilities for up to 32 persons.  While ECI is soon to launch an open training calendar, the facility will be available for clients to hold events, organize residential trainings and business retreats as well as hold conferences or symposiums.
